last Friday during our game of kickball the two factors that influenced my participation were social factor and aesthetic appeal

social factor was one because it is a game i tend to enjoy playing because of how many students are competitive and got going in the game and there is never a team that is better then the other.

aesthetic appeal was another one because it is a great feeling getting an opponent out knowing that you are getting players out not letting them make anymore points or eliminating there lives.

Yesterday during our game of modified Touch the two factors that influenced my participation were social factor and cost

Social factor was one because it is a game i tend to enjoy playing because of how many students are competitive and got going in the game and there is never a team that is better then the other.

Equipment needed was another one because after finding out how to play modified touch, the game isn't very difficult to play and set up which makes it easier for us to start the game without wasting much time getting more game time throughout the lesson.

Execution Phase

In order to generate maximum force I need to follow a sequence, my largest muscles to my smallest to generate the maximum amount of force and power. This means that I need to start from my legs, then move on to the next muscles in the same sequence, for example, when i flex my leg and bend my knee I am producing force and then i pass this force into my upper body.this all needs to be done with the correct timing so the shot is perfect.

While moving from the preparation to the execution phase both my Shoulder and Elbow joints are working.
1. The Shoulder joint [Glenohumeral] is a ball and socket joint which flexing, the agonist muscle contracting to make this movement happen is the pectoralis major and the antagonist muscle relaxing in this movement is thLatissimus dorsi .
2. The Elbow joint is extending, the agonist muscle contracting to make this movement is triceps and the antagonist muscle relaxing in this movement is bicep.
The similarities I can see in my joints and the ideal is the we both have the same kind of stance and hold in the preparation phase, but when released i don't push onto the ball while the right amount of force.

In the execution phase balance and stability is important to produce a well coordinated shot. Centre of gravity is defined as the point that is equally balanced throughout the whole body. To be balanced my centre of gravity has to be equally balanced throughout your whole body. i know im balanced because my centre 0f gravity is inside my body. Also I know I am balanced because my line of gravity goes through my body and straight between my legs and my base of support has 2 to 4 points of my body touching the ground [my legs and arms].

The similarities I can see in my balance and stability is pretty even and similar to the ideal because i have my two feet planted on the ground.

Last week during our game of king dodge ball the two factors that influenced my participation were equipment needed and aesthetic appeal.

Equipment needed was one because it was a change from a rugby ball, football or basketball, we got to use doge balls and it was an all round different experience playing for doge ball once.

Aesthetic appeal was another one because dodge ball is a game of elimination and once you eliminate an opponent it gives your team one less player to worry about and its a good feeling knowing your helping your team out.

Yesterday during our game of modified Touch the two factors that influenced my participation were well-being and a sense of achievement.

Well-being influenced my participation because I know if I participated in the p.e lesson it is good exercise and a good time. by continuing to exercise throughout the whole lesson ,i improved my physical well being

Sense of Achievement influenced my participation because i know that my class has a lot of competitive players,  it makes me more competitive and when we win it makes me feel good about myself.

Last term tuesday we played ki o rahi the two factors that influenced my participation were
Challenge and  environmental appreciation.

I choose challenge because it was an activity that had to competitive sides that wanted to win,
I had to push myself and help my team make points by running around and gathering point.
I also enjoyed being the taniwha and protecting the tupu from the ball, not letting the other team
gain point.

Environmental appreciation was another because it was a change from being the the gym all the time,
we got to slide and try to make point getting a little muddy but all round worth it and it was just a different
experience from playing ki o rahi in the gym.

Last Tuesday during our game of island ball  the two factors that influenced my participation
were fun and enjoyment and sense of achievement.

Fun and enjoyment influenced me because i enjoy doing p.e and I enjoy playing island ball
with my class because it's challenging against them.

Sense of achievement was another one because i enjoy versing my friends and
classmates in activities that will push me to help my team out to win.

Follow Through Phase - Nehaal Goundar

In the follow through phase I still need to contract certain segments. To make sure my shot is effective I need to contract my smaller muscles in my arm. i know i am following the principle of sequencing because my smaller muscles and my arms are continuing to extend.

While moving from the execution phase to the follow through phase both my Shoulder and Elbow joints are working. The Shoulder joint is ball an socket. The agonist muscle contracting to make this movement is flexing and the antagonist muscle relaxing in this movement is extending. The Elbow joint is a hinge joint. The agonist muscle contracting to make this movement is flexing and the antagonist muscle relaxing in this movement is extending. The differences/similarities I can see in my joints and the ideal are pretty similar because of the joint angles.

In the follow through phase I am using Newton's Third law. Newton's Third law states, whenever a force is applied there is an equal and opposite reaction. For example if your doing a push up, when you push up that's the action and when your pushing your body it lifts you because of the reaction of force applied to the ground when pushing. My reaction is dependent on my action created in my body to get a greater reaction and processes more force (power) so you get a greater reach to the reach the hoop. If you contract your body a little bit your wont get as much force as you will when you contract your body with more force.

In the follow through phase balance and stability is still important to producing a well executed shot. To be balanced in this phase I need to make sure that both my legs are evenly stable and my center of gravity is evenly distributed through out my whole body. Also I know I am balanced because my centre of gravity is evenly distributed throughout my whole body. The similarities I can see in my balance and stability when it comes to the balance but at the end of my shot i had to put a foot out stop my body from tilting and making me fall.

Preparation Phase - Nehaal Goundar

To generate maximum force I need to contract as many segments as possible. I know I am contracting segments in my preparation phase because my lower body muscles are working together to create as much momentum as possible to generated all momentum into my arms from my legs using the biggest parts of my body first. I can see that i am generating force because i am flexing my knees.

In the preparation phase I am contracting my lower body muscles, this means that I am using my Hips, Knees and Ankle joints in this phase. I used my knee joints other wise known as a hinge joint. When flexing my knees, my agonist [hamstring] and my quadriceps are my antagonist.
The ankle joint is a hinge/plane joint which is Dorsiflexing, which is caused by the tibialus anterior being the agonist and the gastrocnemius being the antagonist.
The hip joint is a ball and socket joint, the hip is flexing because i am in a stance and all my joints a flexing, which is caused by quadriceps being the agonist the gluteus maximus being the antagonist.
The differences i can see are my knees haven't bent down/flexed as much as the example on the left and my elbows are flexed too much so the ball looks like its touching my forehead.

In the preparation phase balance and stability is important when performing a sporting movement. Line of Gravity is defined as the direction of the force of gravity through the body is downward, towards the center of the earth and throughout your center of gravity. My line of gravity is located through the middle of my body and in between my feet, therefore i am set to be stable.
Base of support is defined as how stable you are through your feet, if you are on all fours you will have even better base of support.I can see that i am stable because i have two feet on the ground.
The differences/similarities I can see in my balance and stability compared to the ideal are pretty similar i don't think i had any problems for my balance and i was pretty stable throughout the whole preparation phases.

Log 6- Doctor Dodge

Last friday i played doctor dodge it was a great game and i used negotiation as my interpersonal skill.

I used negotiation by telling the doctor i would protect them while they go and revive others so later on they
can come back and revive me. When it was our turn to throw the dodge ball i negotiated a plan with my
teammates. i would pass the ball across to the other side where i have another teammate waiting to intercept
the ball and have a clear shot at the person trying to get to the other side.

By doing this it had a positive impact because we could negotiate and make plans together,
helping out our team know how to protect the doctor.

log 5 - Kickball 2

Last thursday i played kickball and i used supporting and encouraging others as my interpersonal skill.

I used this interpersonal skill by telling everyone to go there hardest and not to give up. I encouraged them
while telling them to have a go at trying the activity out. Also, i included others by giving them a go or
giving them my turn, getting everyone included and involved.
It had a positive impact on my team because I got all the people in my team to try it out even the people that were shy about playing. By including everyone in the game it made them enjoy the game more and feel like they were part of the team.

log 4 - Kickball

Last friday I play kickball and i demonstrated the interpersonal skill effective communication.

I used effective communication by talking to my team giving them positions and calling out there names
when passing the ball. This meant that there was always someone to pass the ball to.
For example i would tell Chloe to stand across me so if i ever caught the ball i would pass it to her if
someone ran past her and she would do the same with me.

It had a positive impact for my team because i was always talking to my team helping them out.
By talking to my teams and creating more opportunities which helped us understand the game more.

Log 3 - Basketball

Last Friday we played basketball and I demonstrated the interpersonal skill cooperation.

I used cooperation by passing the ball around and using my team, it was a very difficult game.
Cooperation was key because we had to pass the ball around to get near the paint or the hoop.
I did this by telling them to move so we can open up the other team up and pass the ball round them.

I had a positive impact in my team because i would keep helping my
team and cooperating with them talking to them to find open space so we can score more points.

log 2 - Obstacle Course

Last week we did an obstacle course I was teamed up with Paul and i had to trust him while i was
blindfolded.

I demonstrated effective communication when it was my turn to help Paul.
I used effective communication and helped him get through the obstacle course,
telling him to follow my voice and telling him to trust me and lead him through.
For example i told him to feel around the ground if he didn't know how to describe
where he was but we knew he could trust me and he made it through without failing any of the obstacles.

It had a positive impact on Paul because he could trust me and followed my
instructions making it much easier and we were able to do it successfully without any injuries.

Log 1- Fastball

Last week we played fast ball and I demonstrated the interpersonal skill Negotiation.
I demonstrated Negotiation by taking charge and telling my team what to do and
gave then positions according on what they wanted to do whether it was defending or attacking.
Another example was when I let people know why they should be doing, telling them to defend,
marking a player, or even playing attack but when on our own side try to defend as well.

This had a positive impact on our team because everyone knew their positions and
knew what they were doing to help the team functioned well.
